On this page you will find examples of the types of non-sense evidence that is produced by the hobby and
charlatan ghost hunters that currently dominate this field of research. We've included some photographs of
our own that we took to demonstrate how easy it is for these types of ghost hunters to produce something for their web
sites and their clients.
In order not to violate any copyrights, we do not place other investigative
groups photographs or videos on our own site. Instead, we simply insert hyper-links that will take you
directly to their sites. And for the lawyers who might think about accusing us of slander or defamation, let it be known
that all of the opinions stated on this web site are based entirely on evidence and information that was freely
and willingly placed on the internet for people like ourselves to visit, view, and scrutinize. We
hereby freely partake of that right to offer our professional criticism. To show our gratitude, we are more than honored to
drive as much traffic as we possibly can to these web sites via the included links so that the rest of the world can ponder
the credibility of the evidence so graciously provided by our esteemed colleagues.
During the investigation of the Sullivan House at Old City Park, we recorded what some of us thought to
be someone or some thing whistling in the background of this house. Two investigators were inside sweeping
for e.v.p's and neither reported hearing this whistle. A few weeks later, we investigated a train museum where we
somehow recorded what sounds to be the exact same whistle. We thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion
that it had to be an issue with the recorder that was producing something that sounds very much like a person whistling.
The only common denominator between the two recordings was the recorder itself. We have since found several more instances
of this same whistle on this particular digital voice recorder and have come to realize that there are many audible anomalies
that show up in recordings on digital voice recorders that sound like whispers, coughs, grunts, and moans. This
new understanding of this recorder will definitely assist in the debunking process of future investigations.
Below are the two pieces of audio in question. The first one is the Sullivan whistle that is quite audible. The
second is at the train museum which is a little harder to pick out. It happens at about ten seconds in.
This photo demonstrates a phenomenon called matrixing. It is the brains ability to pull out familiar
images from a textured surface. In this photo, a face can be seen in the lower right hand corner of the window on this
old train car. It is simply the bends and folds on the fabric that are producing this effect. To our brain, it looks like
a human face.
This photograph also represents the matrixing phenomenon. This demonic face peering at us from the darkness
was actually just a bush being illuminated by a lamp post. We used a low light setting on our camera to blur the contours
of the bush, enabling our minds to see whatever seems to make sense of the chaos.
I thought this was a perfect example to show how someone can easily make a convincing piece of video evidence of something
paranormal. This example is extraordinary because it is something that we all know to be fake and obviously not paranormal,
but otherwise perfect.
Tisk Tisk. You know what? Eighty percent of our investigations give us nothing in the way of paranormal phenomena.
Twenty percent gives us phenomena that we could not explain. That may not seem like much in the TAPS world, but
it suits us just fine. You can rest assured that whatever seemingly paranormal phenomena we document, is true and genuine.
No smoke and mirrors. We've tried and tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, but our hypocrisy
only goes so far.
