My name is Ardis Stembridge and I am the founder of Credible Paranormal. Unlike most paranormal
investigators, it was not a profound paranormal experience that inspired me to investigate claims of the paranormal as they
pertain to ghostly phenomena. In fact, I am seemingly the only paranormal investigator alive who has never seen a ghost.
My interest in investigating such claims came about at the age of fourteen after reading a work of fiction called
the Amityville Horror, written by author Jay Anson. It was a supposedly true account of the Lutz family who moved into a home
that had been the site of the factual murder of the entire Defaeo family, by their eldest son Ronald. Ronald claimed
in court that demonic forces in the home compelled him to commit the crimes. The Lutz's supposedly encountered the
same phenomena and, a few days later, fled the home in the dead of night for fear of their lives and sanity.
The case was investigated by famed paranormal investigators and self proclaimed Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Coupled with their claimed experiences and my longing to believe in things beyond explanation, I was deeply inspired by the
Warren's and began doing small scale investigations. Eventually, the case was discovered a hoax and the Warren's exposed
as frauds for validating a haunting that never existed. Betrayed and disillusioned, I allowed my dedication to investigating
claims of the paranormal fade to a passive and private interest.
Years later, my interest in actively investigating
began to rekindle. The trend of televised investigations took hold and I came to realize that the field of paranormal
research had been taken hostage by charlatans who were inspiring a new generation of misguided investigators. Even
more shocking was to find that Ed and Lorraine Warren were still viewed as two of the leading investigators in the nation. It
was that realization that inspired me to form an organization dedicated to bringing the reign of the Dust Chaser's to
a well deserved end, and finally bring credibility to the field of paranormal research.

Hi
everyone, I’m Jim Moore. Everyone calls me Jimmy. I am 38 years old, married with one child. I am originally from Mississippi
but have lived in Texas most of my life (29 years). I guess everyone will be wondering
why I want to investigate the paranormal (I know I am wondering that about everyone else). I have two reasons.
First of all, I have a natural curiosity about everything
(literally). Secondly, I had a very intense personal paranormal experience when I was younger. My parents died
three weeks apart when I was 18. I won’t go into the details here, so lets just say I was devastated. I continued
to live in the house for about 6 months after they died. One night about a month after their deaths, a friend and I went out
for the evening. Before I left the house I made sure to turn all the lights out in my house and I left my two dogs inside
the home. The two dogs were neither trained watch dogs nor were they “vicious” but they would protect the house.
They were especially protective of my father and would lie at his feet while he sat in his easy chair.
When I returned home that evening, every light was on in my house. Fearing
that someone had broken in, I called the police. They arrived and checked around the house before entering and found no signs
of forced entry. I noted to one of the officers that I had not heard my dogs bark (very unusual since they barked at everything).
When the officer opened my front door he motioned to me to come to the door. There sat my two dogs right next to my fathers
chair wagging their tails and cocking their heads as if to say “What’s up?” A search of my house showed
that nothing had been disturbed or was missing. It was just like I had left it except that every light in the house was on
and the TV was also on.
I have often thought of that
night and wondered if my parents came to visit me one last time, or was it just wishful thinking and an overactive imagination.
I hope to one day finally know for sure.
